About

Maryna is an NLP engineer with a background in applied linguistics. She designs how a chatbot understands people, not only how it is wired.

What she does

  • Designs chatbot architecture in Python with Rasa, including speech recognition (ASR) in the loop.
  • Works with language models and NLP libraries such as spaCy, TextBlob and Duckling for intent and entity extraction.
  • Collects and prepares language corpora, including web scraping and text preprocessing for training data.
  • Monitors bots in production with Grafana, Metabase and log analysis.

Background

A master's degree in applied linguistics and studies at Charles University in Prague, followed by five years of applied programming. On our chatbot and assistant projects she owns conversation design, test sets and the quality of answers in each language.
