The client wanted to build a sports-focused calendar platform that would allow users to view upcoming fixtures from various sports and countries in one place. The system had to be highly customizable, support real-time updates, and be scalable for both individual users and enterprise-level clients (e.g., sports media platforms)

Solution

We developed a full-featured web application and mobile-ready interface that delivers dynamic sports schedules, personalized user experiences, and seamless integration with external data feeds. A critical part of the solution was building a custom parsing engine to automatically aggregate, normalize, and synchronize data from hundreds of calendars and feeds across different sports and leagues. For B2B clients, we built APIs and embeddable widgets for integrating Fixture Calendar into third-party platforms

The result was a sleek, powerful platform that enables users to discover and track sports fixtures across leagues and sports worldwide. From Premier League football to NBA games and Formula 1 races, all data is unified in a single, easy-to-navigate calendar, available across devices and embeddable into partner platforms

Our task was to build a global sports calendar platform that aggregates events from hundreds of leagues and dozens of sports, updating in real time. The solution needed to deliver personalized calendars to end users while also providing powerful tools for enterprise clients to license the data or integrate the calendar into their systems.

We developed a robust parsing logic capable of processing and standardizing large volumes of incoming calendar data from different sources and formats. Additionally, we implemented timezone-based adjustments, filtering by sport/team/location, and support for iCal/Google Calendar integration
